This 2 and a half hour webinar is intended as a follow up of JoVE’s Rabies Methods Collection (https://www.jove.com/methods-collections/19/current-research-methods-rabies-diagnosis-prevention-treatment) published previously. Topics will range from SOPs for Lyssavirus Surveillance, nested realtime RT-PCR for rabies diagnosis, high-resolution 3D imaging of rabies virus infection in solvent-cleared brain tissue, lateral flow devices, ELISA tests for rabies vaccine potency testing, necropsy techniques in large and small animals, DRIT, and biomarker analogues for monitoring ORV campaigns. The webinar will end with a round table-issues arising-closing thoughts-final Q&A.
